FlexEquip continued service and COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 virus we are monitoring and following advice of the NSW Ministry of Health about the coronavirus (COVID-19) to continue to provide our service with the safety of individuals in mind. At this time FlexEquip will continue to provide a service but this is conditional being able to continue to operate the services safely.

For FlexEquip to continue to operate the service safely:

  • Health professionals requesting equipment must still be able to do onsite set up and instruction of delivered equipment in the recipients’ home environment.
  • Couriers being able to deliver the equipment within their organisations WH&S guidelines
  • FlexEquip equipment availability if returns are not able to be processed in a timely manner

In line with directives, we will need to contact recipients of equipment prior to deliver to ask the following questions:

  1. if they or a person in the home have had contact with anyone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or
  2. if they or a person in the home has flu like symptoms or feel unwell in anyway, or
  3. if they or a person in the home have had exposure to people who have travelled overseas in the past 14 days.

If someone has been in contact with a person with COVID-19 or they are unwell themselves then we will not be able to deliver until the illness has passed through the household. Inevitably this will mean delays in provision of equipment may occur. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time and further updates will be posted as they come to hand.
